Intel Challenge Features eight of the Best Female CS: GO Competing with regard to $30, 000
The Intel Challenge female CS: GO tournament set to start upon March 2 .
Through March 2-3 within Katowice, Poland, 8 of the best female Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams in the world will take center stage battling for a reward purse worth $30, 000.
The field is stacked with excellent teams as the reigning champions have came back, but this time putting on different shirts. We Run This Location, the 2016 Intel Challenge Champions, had been acquired by Team Secret immediately after their win in Katowice.
CLG-Red, arguably the best team from The united states, is determined to get back to the finals they once reached within 2016, but now coming back with a 2nd place finish isn’t enough.
Diane “Di^” Tran was within the team when they completed in second place last year and had this to say about the upcoming event.
“We may have a stand in for klaudia for this tournament, but we’re looking for revenge to take back again our number one spot. ”
It’s not only the finalist that have returned, but both of the semifinalists from 2016 have returned as well.
Using their charismatic in-game leader Emmalee “EMUHLEET” Garrido and her P90 at the ready, formerly known as Team Karma, Selfless Gaming is looking to move up the ladder and succeed this tournament.
“I am so excited for IEM and going in confident with our own new 5th gamer, CAth. We have been bootcamping for past 5 days and also really going deep within details on small mistakes. We are so hungry to go home with the gold and compete with all that we’ve got. ”
The other semifinalist, LDLC, have made a few roster switches in the past year replacing each Amélie “aME” Raoul and CSGO Ak47 Skins Sara “Leeya” Tekaya with Perrine “Lalita” Allesiardo and Clara “Cla” Rossi.
The teams happen to be placed into two groups and from initial reactions, appears to be balanced.
