The French team Limitless wound up being the shock of WESG, because they picked up three is victorious to finish above fnatic and advance to the playoffs. After the team's upset over the Swedes, we talked for their leader Théo "LoWkii" Téchené.

AGO handed Limitless a tough reduction on Mirage to start off group D, but the French side, that was considered one of the underdogs of the tournament, were able to turn it around, picking up wins over Fragsters, RESISTANCE, and finally, fnatic.

After the team won their crucial match, barely closing out the game after a big first-half lead, all of us sat down with Théo "LoWkii"Téchené who told us about the inception of the team, their preparation and the matches in Barcelona.

This team, Limitless, had almost no results before this, when did you get together, can you tell us a bit about the team?

The team is definitely new, we have been actively playing together for about per month. It's two gamers Buy CSGO Skins from Epsilon, Kan4 and me, along with a former player associated with dizLown, that won Assembly Winter. All of us are friends and we played with this same team in the past. But at this time, in September, all of us decided to play together again and consider using a new project, with new possibilities in game, because We lead, and I have also picked up a brand new sniper Maka and we have two snipers and maybe two frontrunners... It's pretty cool.

You got together, you started practicing, have you got an organizational support, pay, is it a full-time thing?

The very first week when we performed together we won a French championship on the internet, that was called Underdogs. We beat ARES and aAa, so it was a pretty decent performance. Next, we directly performed the WESG qualifier without any practice, all of us just won as well as qualified for Barcelona. After that, we began the practice.

Limitless is an organization which is lead by buddy of mine, and at the beginning, we didn't want salaries or even financial help, simply because in the past, in Epsilon, the French lineup, we had some money to play and it doesn't work. The reason is that players think that it's all carried out, you have money to allow them to do whatever, these people lose motivation. In the beginning of this team, me personally and the owner associated with Limitless agreed to not need salaries and that we should try and prove in the next 3-4 months that we have what it requires to be professional. I believe that after this overall performance we probably possess proven that.

Seeing the groups here, what were your own first thought about the actual four teams?

We had a pretty decent group, when we saw this we were pretty happy. You have fnatic, in addition to AGO and Fragsters, but we know what we are capable of. We ready the LAN for any week in Paris, france on a bootcamp at the Paris Gaming School and we focused on the actual preparation of the four matches, in particularly of AGO as well as Fragsters, because they are the two teams close to our level, if you can say.

The first match, compared to AGO, didn't exercise because we dedicated to anti-strats and it's not a good way. We were completely blocked on "they are going to do this", "they are going to perform this" and we don't play our video game anymore. So at the next matches all of us decided to stop considering only about anti-strating, just know the important, worldwide things, and after which focus on our proper game and the three other maps, which were RESISTANCE, Fragsters as well as fnatic. It was 3 times Cache, and three wins.

Is Cache your best map, is the fact that something you feel very comfortable playing, or even did it just come out like that at this occasion?

It's not our best chart, we have two some other maps with very good results, but for this event, we prepared Cache because we knew that all the groups in the group leave this map within the veto almost every time. So we really dedicated to this map as well as all of our players are very confident on this chart. So we decided to pick this map on all the BO1's also it worked.

Let's touch on the last chart, against fnatic you Csgo skins for sale went up 11-2, but then they slowly started coming back. Tell me about the fight to close it away, it's always hard towards a big team.

All of us won the second pistol round, we were 12-4 and after that we didn't want to control the actual map, we just wanted to use away strat, our best strat, and it's not the answer versus good gamers like fnatic. You can pull out your strat at the beginning of the circular. You need to control the actual map, you need to show your presence on all of the map, after which you can use your strat.

So we lost like five rounds due to that, after that, Maka helped me in order to calm down the team and to go as well as take map control, where we are really strong because of our work on the chart. We did which, we won 1 or 2 cutches and then the magic happened.

You mentioned Maka a few times, as much as I know he is quite a new player, this is his first worldwide tournament, where has he come from, they have been pretty powerful?

Exactly, this is very first international tournament. He could be one of the best players which I've ever seen in CS, this guy is actually playing CS for any maybe one or two years. He is just genius, he knows all the positions, he can read the game, he can take the AWP, he can take the lead with me, he is really strong on the pistol, he has really good reads on the strats of our adversaries. We have been just totally crazy about this guy, he is a really promising talent through France and I'm certain about his progression for the next year, I am pretty sure he will go to G2 or EnVyUs soon.

Any last thoughts, on moving forward in the tournament as well as things to come following the tournament?

After this competition, some of the guys on the team have college so we are trying move our exams after that we normally have the final of ESL in France, the national championship in December after that we are going to exercise, practice to prepare with regard to China because all of us qualified. And we are going to try to do good in the playoffs tomorrow.
